Singles like to play the Dating game like a pro and become an ideal date for somebody. However it is important to play your cards in the right manner for you to make the best of your date.

Firstly avoid asking unnecessary questions which make you look foolish.  How is the date going? Is something wrong? If your date is not going well you will know instinctively without asking these questions.

Decide a suitable meeting place which will be of interest to both of you. It could be a concert or an exhibition or even a fair. You could also opt for outdoor activities like ice skating or scuba diving etc.

Dress in an appropriate manner. Do not wear outfits that are suggestive and distract your date. Do not wear anything very expensive which will make your date think that you are trying to impress or that your are high maintenance. These are big turn offs for your date.
Give a preference to comfort rather than to style when your select clothes from your wardrobe.

Do not discuss about your past relationships on your first date. Do not eyeball or stare at other men or women which can be very disrespectful. Keep your cell phone switched off as it may seem annoying to your date if your receive calls constantly.

Last but not the least you have the choice to leave if you find your date to be disrespectful and opiniated. However leave politely offering an excuse.
